Lairg 2 Windfarm
MVGLA was involved throughout the design and assessment process for this Development by EnergieKontor UK, located to the south-east of Lairg. The ten turbines of 180m and 150m to blade tip were given consent in June 2020. Visualisations produced by MVGLA in-house graphics team included daylight photomontages and dusk imagery to illustrate aviation lighting effects. Our work confirmed the importance of design, careful assessment, and communication with consultees.
Solar Panels in the Landscape
Beatrice authored a chapter in the book “A Comprehensive Guide to Solar Energy Systems, with special focus on photovoltaic systems” in 2018. The chapter covered landscape and visual issues relating to solar panel developments.
